A local arowana trader was apprehended at Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA for trying to smuggle several arowanas on board a plane to China. Unfortunately for him, an airport personnel found water dripping from a suitcase belonging to the smuggler which he packed with his clothes in it earlier. The man is said to have paid the RM8.0 million fine imposed on him by the The Department of Fisheries Malaysia. Arowana trader fined RM8.0million
He was caught for smuggling some thousands of ringgit worth of arowana yet he is still able to pay off the RM8 million fine. Just imagine how much money he's been making all this while...
